No, an eviction does not have to be filed to receive payment from our program. Applications are evaluated and processed in the order they are received. Due to the number of applications submitted each day, we cannot provide a timeline as to when we will get to your application and when payment (if applicable) will be made. Many factors can slow down the application process (incomplete application, non-responsiveness, fraud attempts, etc.).
